Matchroom Sport entered the fray in basketball introducing the British Basketball All-Stars Championship – a new, entertaining take on the fast-paced game with a record-breaking £100,000 prize fund in 2017.

Matches are just 12 minutes long with a 20-second shot clock while an all- Star 5-point line offers rewards for those willing to brave a shot from distance. Teams will also have a two-minute Power Play at their disposal, during which any points will be doubled.

The Championship is played on the same weekend as the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. The London Lions have won two of the first three years.
