Leyton Orient are delighted to announce that Matchroom will continue as an official club partner for the 2025/26 campaign
Matchroom is the world’s largest independent sports promoter, having been established in 1982 by former Orient chairman Barry Hearn.
They currently own and operate the Professional Darts Corporation, World Snooker Tour, World Nineball Tour and their Matchroom Boxing brand.
As part of the new partnership, Matchroom, the previous Stadium Naming Rights partner here in E10, will play a key role in supporting the Club’s community outreach. A number of match tickets will be donated to children in the local area, allowing young fans to experience live football at BetWright Stadium and to see what makes Leyton Orient so special.
The Matchroom brand will also be visible throughout the stadium on digital advertising boards, in the Club’s official matchday programme, and across the Leyton Orient website.
Ravi Patel, Chief Commercial Officer at the O’s, stated: “We’re thrilled to welcome Matchroom on board as a Club Partner. We know that Barry and Eddie Hearn and, of course, Matt Porter have a deep affection for Leyton Orient, so it’s great for us to have them on board once more. Their commitment to distributing tickets to children in the local community is excellent, and we’re excited to work together to give more young people the chance to enjoy football and be part of Leyton Orient.”
Matchroom President Barry Hearn said: “Leyton Orient remains an important part of the Matchroom family and we’re delighted to be working with the club on this important initiative, which will benefit local kids. Nigel Travis remains a good friend of mine, and I still love my visits back to BetWright Stadium, even if they’re not as regular as they once were! Nigel and Matt keep me up to date on everything that the club is doing, and I’m happy to see them doing so well on and off the field.”
