Matchroom Multi Sport is delighted to announce CarpLife Competitions as the new title sponsor of the 2026 CarpLife Competitions FishOMania, with record-breaking demand already for the qualifiers as anglers vie for a place at the UK’s most prestigious angling event, returning to Westwood Lakes, Lincolnshire, on 18 July 2026 — live on Sky Sports across the UK and Ireland.

Spector tickets for the 2026 CarpLife Competitions FishOMania will go on sale on 5 March 2026 at 3pm, with fans encouraged to secure their place early for what is expected to be a sell-out event.

The 2026 CarpLife Competitions FishOMania marks an exciting new chapter for the sport, with CarpLife Competitions stepping in as title sponsor of angling’s most prestigious one-day event. This year’s competition will expand to a 30-angler field, increasing both the scale and intensity of the sport’s most iconic showdown. With the very best anglers battling it out across the iconic Westwood Lakes complex, the race for the FishOMania title promises to be more competitive than ever.

First staged in 1994, FishOMania has become the pinnacle of UK coarse fishing — a unique one-day final where qualification is earned through months of fiercely contested heats across the country. The event combines elite sporting drama with a festival atmosphere, attracting thousands of passionate fans to Lincolnshire each summer.
With CarpLife Competitions’ backing, the 2026 edition is set to build on that legacy, aligning one of angling’s most innovative brands with its most celebrated stage and further elevating the experience for both anglers and spectators alike.

Matt Tomsett, Founder & CEO of CarpLife Competitions said: “I started out in carp fishing, but over the years I’ve realised angling is far bigger than any one discipline. It’s a sport that connects people, creates opportunity and has real benefits for mental health and wellbeing. It constantly pushes you to challenge yourself and grow.

FishOMania is the pinnacle of match fishing, and the level of skill and pressure on that stage is incredible. To have Carp Life Competitions as title sponsor is something we’re genuinely proud of. We’ve always believed in supporting grassroots angling, and by backing FishOMania we hope we can help inspire junior anglers to one day step onto that main stage themselves.

We see this as the beginning of a bigger role for us within competitive angling, with something exciting to share on finals day. And because the future matters, every child attending the event will receive a special Carp Life gift. We want young anglers leaving Westwood Lakes inspired.”

Barry Hearn, President of Matchroom Sport, said: “FishOMania has been the crown jewel of match fishing for more than three decades. It’s a tournament built on pressure, precision and passion — and it means everything to the anglers who earn their place in that final.

We’re thrilled to welcome CarpLife Competitions as title sponsor at such an exciting time for the event. Their passion for angling and commitment to supporting the sport make them the perfect partner for FishOMania, and together we’re looking forward to delivering an unforgettable 2026 edition for anglers and fans alike.”

Emily Frazer, CEO of Matchroom Multi Sport, said: “We’re delighted to partner with CarpLife Competitions, a brand that shares our vision for growth, innovation and celebrating the very best of angling. FishOMania is a defining moment in the angling calendar and an event that captures the imagination of fans across the UK. We cannot wait to welcome fans back to Westwood Lakes on 18 July.”

The road to the 2026 CarpLife Competitions FishOMania final begins with qualification events held nationwide, starting with the first qualifier on 1 April at Tunnel Barn Farm 1. The journey will culminate in the sport’s most high-pressure day on 18 July at Westwood Lakes, where one angler will etch their name into history.
