Barry Hearn and Matchroom Sport are proud to announce that Rio Olympian Brinn Bevan has signed managerial terms with the company.
The 19-year-old was part of the Team GB squad that won silver at the 2015 World Championship and came fourth in the Men’s Gymnastics Olympic Team Final last year.
Competing individually Bevan won pommel horse bronze at the 2015 European Games and is a rising star of British gymnastics, with aspirations of medalling at Tokyo 2020.
“I’m really excited to be working with Barry and Matchroom Sport,” said Bevan. “This partnership will help me reach the next level in my career.
“I do everything I can inside the gym to reach my full potential and I believe this partnership will enhance the chances of achieving all of the targets we set.”
Barry Hearn, Chairman of Matchroom Sport, commented: “Brinn devotes everything to his sport and is a true star of the future. With the right dedication and the right people around him, this 19-year-old from Essex can really change his life. He has an excellent coach in Scott Hann, an abundance of ability, and now has all of our expertise at his disposal too.”
“After the experience of competing at Rio 2016, Brinn has now embarked on an exciting journey as he aims towards Tokyo 2020, where medalling is a real target, and Matchroom Sport will be supporting him every step of the way.”
