MATCHROOM, PDC, AND WST PEN MOMENTOUS MULTI-YEAR BROADCAST DEAL WITH ITV

Matchroom, the Professional Darts Corporation, and World Snooker Tour are delighted to announce a momentous new deal with ITV. 

Matchroom, the PDC, and WST have signed a new multi-year deal with ITV seeing some of sports flagship events remain on free-to-air television in the UK.  

ITV’s partnership with Matchroom Group(Multi Sport, PDC, and WST) is a pillar stone in sport and it will see some of sports’ most elite events remain exclusively on ITV4. Snooker’s Champion of Champions promoted by Matchroom Multi Sport join World Snooker Tour events like the Players Championship, World Grand Prix, and Tour Championship as part of the bumper deal.  

The Professional Darts Corporation has had a long-standing partnership with ITV and it will see the broadcaster continue to cover The Masters, UK Open, European Championship, the World Series of Darts, as well as the Players Championship Finals.  

Viewing figures have proven to be some of the highest ITV4 have had across the events with the 2019 Champion of Champions seeing nearly 1 million people tune in to see Neil Robertson beat Judd Trump in what’s viewed as one of the all-time great snooker contests.
