The PGA EuroPro Tour is delighted to confirm a partnership with Scottish based Golf GPS watch company Shot Scope Technologies for the 2020 season.

The deal will see Shot Scope Technologies host the main season finale at Leven Links and work with the Tour throughout 2020 with tournament winners receiving a Shot Scope watch as an additional prize at every event.

Shot Scope CEO David Hunter: “The reach and the ethos of the tour mirror Shot Scope. The GolfCatcher EuroPro Tour enables golfers to get to the next level professionally and Shot Scope can help golfers to understand their game to improve.”

Hunter believes that players should be looking increasingly into their data: “Every  PGA EuroPro Tour golfer should be collecting their performance data and our involvement may lead them to understand how to efficiently capture that data. We also have thousands of users in the UK so we will be able to tell them some of the stories from the 2020 PGA EuroPro Tour and introduce the players to them.”

Shot Scope’s commercial activities are headed up by former PGA EuroPro Tour alumni Gavin Dear who now works as the companies Chief Commercial Officer: “We are really looking forward to working with the PGA EuroPro Tour. It is an important staple of the UK golf scene and as a UK company, it is important to participate and help the next generation of successful golfers.”

Tour CEO Dan Godding believes it’s an exciting time for both the Tour and ShotScope: “ShotScope are starting to establish themselves as a huge player in the golf market with more and more golfers opting for their watches. We in the same vein, are bringing up and coming golfers into the professional game with over 14 players moving on to the Challenge Tour and European Tour last season.”

Shot Scope V2 is the crown jewel that lets you learn how far you hit each club and discover your strengths and weaknesses with over 100 statistics about your game. GPS distances to the front, middle, and back of the green are hugely beneficial whilst playing golf, especially if you have never used any measuring device before.
