Matchroom is delighted to announce a new multi-year broadcast agreement with Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) giving sports fans in the Nordics, Baltics, and Poland the opportunity to take in Matchroom’s vast amount of sporting action from the Professional Darts Corporation, Snooker, Pool, Ten-Pin Bowling and more on NENT Group’s Viaplay streaming service.

The agreement with NENT Group sees flagship tournaments like the Professional Darts Corporation’s World Darts Championship and Snooker’s Champion of Champions remain available to Viaplay viewers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, and in Iceland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland for the first time, as well as other key tournaments from across the PDC and Matchroom Multi Sport from the Grand Slam of Darts to the Mosconi Cup, World Series of Darts and Weber Cup amongst others.

NENT Group has been a long-standing partner of Matchroom broadcasting for many years in the Nordic region, with viewing figures for Matchroom’s portfolio of sports continuing to grow year on year making it a key partner as part of NENT Group’s international expansion strategy with Matchroom seeing it as an opportune moment to grow the vast portfolio of sports with Viaplay.
